OUR EXPERIENCE
Our Design Director began his career in manufacturing after graduating from University with a Bachelor and Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Design.
His corporate roles included titles such as Concept Illustrator, Senior Project Manager, Product Development Manager, Technical Manager, Manufacturing Design Engineer, and Operations Manager. These roles required travelling to multiple global manufacturing hubs including England, Europe, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and New Zealand.
This multi-faceted experience resulted in a knowledge base of manufacturing process and an understanding of how to efficiently introduce new products to existing manufacturing systems.

OUR SPECIALTIES
An Industrial Designer will have a basic understanding of most manufacturing processes however when products are introduced into manufacturing systems there is another function that happens within the manufacturing organisation to create the 'things' needed to support the production and supply of the various components needed in the overall assembly.
These 'things' differ depending on many things including the production process and quality systems employed by the manufacturer.
How these 'things' are designed have a direct impact on the end quality of the product itself and the efficiency of the manufacturing processes.
It's knowledge of these 'things' and how they are incorporated into the product design upfront that we define as Design For Manufacture.
